Legal Aid Bureau, Inc.:  provides free legal assistance to qualified clients in some family law cases. Call 301-777-7474 to apply for services from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Women’s Law Center of Maryland: Produces legal publications on the topics of Domestic Violence, Marriage & Divorce, Unmarried Cohabitants, and Sex Discrimination. Visit the website to view and download publications.

Family Law Hotline: a free service to people with basic family law questions. Call 1-800-845-8550 Monday through Friday 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Legal Form Helpline: receive assistance understanding the process or completing family law court forms. Call 1-800-818-9888 Tuesday and Friday 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am -12:30 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and Thursday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Pro Bono Resource Center: PBRC is a separate non-profit organization which serves as the designated “pro bono arm” of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). PBRC works closely with legal services providers and local bar association pro bono projects throughout the state to help recruit, train, recognize and support pro bono lawyers. PBRC also provides support services (click HERE) to volunteers and programs in the way of free or discounted training, a Pro Bono and Judicare Litigation Fund, mentors and technical assistance.
