Allegany Law Foundation, Inc. will be sponsoring four walk-in estate planning clinics at the Allegany County Libraries. Simple wills, powers of attorney, and advanced directives will be prepared for qualifying Allegany County seniors age 60 and above free of charge. The clinics will be held at the Frostburg Library Conference Room May 14 from 10 am – 2 pm; George’s Creek Library Conference Room June 4 from 10 am – 2 pm; Westernport Library Conference Room June 11 from 10 am – 2pm; and LaVale Library Jeanette Johnson Study Room June 18 from 11 am – 2 pm. Participants will meet individually with an attorney on a first-come, first-served basis. Documents will be prepared and received at the meeting.

Because this program is grant-funded, income restrictions apply. A one-person household must have a gross (before taxes) income less than $48,805; a two-person household, less than $60,745; a three-person household, less than $72,685; and a four-person household, less than $84,625.

Clinic participants should bring proof of income; names, addresses, and phone numbers of representatives and beneficiaries; and a valid picture ID to the clinic.
